CARIGALI-PTTEPI OPERATING COMPANY SDN BHD is recruiting Piping and Mechanical Designers.
Job Purpose
Prepares detailed engineering and construction drawings based on modification requirements to ensure equipment and piping designs are safe, economical, and easy to maintain. Supports projects aimed at increasing gas and liquid production, improving operability, reliability, safety, and overall facility performance in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Key Accountabilities
CONSTRUCTION OPERATION
Provides detailed engineering and construction drawings of equipment and piping to support production objectives, following site surveys to verify design and dimensions, and reviewing installation, constructability, and drafting works from engineering consultants and/or contractors. Coordinates with discipline engineers to ensure all relevant information is available to commence detailed engineering
AVEVA E3D (Everything3D)
Maintain and update the AVEVA E3D facility model, ensuring all design modifications are accurately implemented.
OPERATION IMPROVEMENT
Prepares monthly reports for critical process equipment, covering performance, observations, and proposing recommendations for improvement.
PROCESS SAFETY MANAGEMENT
Implements Management of Change (MOC) guidelines to mitigate unforeseen safety and health hazards throughout all modification activities.
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering Drafting / Design, Mechanical or related fields
- At least 7 years of experience in design and engineering office for medium to large Oil and Gas or Petrochemical projects including at least 5 years in brown field projects of offshore platforms, wellhead platforms, central processing platforms, utility platforms for oil and gas
installation. - In-depth knowledge in Project Management and fair knowledge of oil & gas upstream process engineering, project contract, procurement, accounting and finance.
- Well versed with multi-disciplinary approach and execution requirements during engineering and design, procurement, construction, hookup, offshore installation and commissioning.
