Qualification Required
- B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Work Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in piping stress engineering
Key Responsibilities
As a Piping Stress Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring quality, budget, and schedule compliance for all activities related to pipe supports and pipe flexibility analysis. Your key duties will include:
- Preparing Critical Line Lists and performing piping stress analysis
- Designing and issuing Single Line Diagrams for loading data related to Pipe Racks, Pipe Sleepers, and Foundations
- Preparing detailed Stress Analysis Reports
- Reviewing vendor documents for equipment to ensure compliance with piping moments and load requirements
- Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate support design and system integrity
Technical Skills Required
Candidates should have hands-on experience in:
- Pipe Support Engineering
- Pipe Flexibility Analysis
- Stress Report Preparation
- Vendor Document Review
- Loading Diagram Preparation
Software Skills
- Proficiency in CAESAR II CAESAR II is mandatory
