🔧 Key Responsibilities
As a 3D Designer/Modeller, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality engineering models and supporting project execution. Your responsibilities will include:
🏗️ 3D Modelling & Design
- Develop accurate 3D models for piping, equipment, and structural components
- Ensure models align with project specifications and engineering standards
🔍 Clash Detection & Model Reviews
- Perform clash detection to identify and resolve design conflicts
- Participate in model review sessions with cross-functional teams
📡 Laser Scanning & Point Cloud Integration
- Work with laser scan data and integrate point clouds into design models
- Handle formats such as E57, RCP/RCS, and LAS for accurate as-built representation
📄 Engineering Deliverables
- Generate essential deliverables including:
- Isometric drawings
- General Arrangement (GA) drawings
- Layouts
- Material Take-Off (MTO)
🧠 Skills & Expertise Required
We are looking for professionals who bring both technical expertise and strong coordination abilities:
- Hands-on experience with AVEVA E3D and/or Hexagon Smart 3D
- Solid understanding of piping, equipment, and structural modelling
- Proficiency in handling point cloud data and laser scanning workflows
- Strong analytical skills for clash detection and problem-solving
- Effective communication and coordination with multidisciplinary teams
